Why do my friends bother me so much when I can't/don't want to hang out?

Whenever I say that I'm busy they immediately ask why and I'm the only one they ask this to. It feels like I need to explain everything to them, and then they'll keep making up reasons for me to go. If I tell them I don't feel like going they'll just annoy me about it and it borderline feels like they're making fun of me for not wanting to go.

Another thing is, my parents are kinda strict, so I can't go every time/everywhere they want to go, but again they don't really accept this as a reason because their parents pretty much let them go wherever.

They sound like they like having you around. And yes it's good that parents are strict. You don't need to explain yourself to them as to why you can't go. If they truly are your friends they won't stop talking to you
