Am I in the wrong?

My friend and I booked a holiday with the idea that I could drive us there (2 hours drive). The holiday is booked for November. The option for a coach was there but my friend wanted me to drive. I came back from the same holiday place with my family today (dad was driving) and I couldn’t stay awake for the drive home and I quickly realised that it would be dangerous for me to drive my friend and I when we go and our safer option would be a coach. The coach cost £35 per person. My friend was willing to split petrol cost if I drove. She is claiming that she can’t afford to pay coach fees but the cost of petrol would have been more expensive anyway. But now she wants to cancel the holiday because I suggested we go by coach instead of me driving. I can’t help but feel like I’ve put a downer on the holiday and I’ve ruined it.
