Like bruh, wtf I'm repeating myself everytime I talk to her. I'm at the point in my life to where I'm like what's the freaking point in talking to her. Like do you listen? I've gotten really annoyed with her. She keeps sending the same pictures over and over. And I tell her remember I seen this or we talked about this a day ago? Jesus christ lady, she's the lazy aunt that eats all day, no job and watched TV. No business why she so forgetful. She don't do shit

I'm about to block my aunt. I swear to God she has dementia. If someone ask you the same questions over again would you block them?
Older people are very forgetful, I've had relatives who ask me the same question over and over, or on the flip side. They keep telling me the same thing over and over again and again and I'll be like you already told me that.
Then they'll be like, sorry... so many family members, I don't recall who I've already told that to or not.
My father died with dementia. It's an awful disease! It's like watching a human candle melt before your eyes. From a towering strong-willed, opinionated man into a mute fragile shell of a man, who couldn't remember that he ate lunch 5 minutes ago. A prisoner in his own mind. The Horror, The Horror!
Please be kind to her, and see that she gets the help she needs!
I know it's a sad thing to have. The issue is I THINK she has dementia. But she won't go see a doctor. We've all tried to help her for a year now she just makes up excuses. So we don't know if she actually has it bc she won't go to the doctor. So we've given up on her
She probably has it. The thing with dementia is the smarter the person is at the start, the easier it is for them to hide it, but eventually it's a losing game. Make a list of things that she has trouble with. Check for depth and duration of longterm, midrange and shortterm memory. DM me if you need more help.
She's definitely trying to hide that something is wrong with her. Bc when I say yeah you've told me this 3x remember. She says oh OK. I think she gets embarrassed but at this point bc she won't go see a doctor I don't care if it's embarrassing. She needs to get her head check. She's driving us nuts
We've all asked her what is wrong with her? Offered her help. She acts helpless and clueless we've lost our patience with her. She stresses everyone out. She's lazy, complains yet does nothing with her life and expects people to be on the phone with her all day.
She is literally driving me nuts. We had a conversation last week about my newborn cousin. She text me today " did you know so and so had a baby here's the picture". I said didn't we have this conversation last week via text along with the picture included? I asked her if she was OK cause she's been doing this too much. Then today, "how old are you again is it this age that age". Dude I swear to God I'm about to block her we had this conversation a week ago aswell. She's acting slow
We've attempted that but she swears she's forgetting because she has so much on her mind yet she has no job just sits on her ass eats all day and stays on the phone for hours
Bruh🤣. For example , we will be talking and she'll say did you hear about elon musk? We will have an entire convo about it for an hour. Then she will turn around and ask me ," did you hear about elon musk?" Like lady wtf were we just talking about? Wasted a whole hour of my time
