Would it be offensive if I suggested my aunt talk to her doctor about her bad memory?

She does this all the time. She asks me the same question several times a day. For example, the day before yesterday I went to the pharmacy to get my meds. It turns out they weren't open. When I got home we had a conversation about it and that I didn't get my pills. She then asked me three times later that day if I got my pills. A couple of hours a part, but still. I had to responde the same way everytime and eventually started just saying "no" in an annoyed tone. She's 68, and im concerned she has dementia or something. She sees her doctor tomorrow, and i was gonna suggest she brings it up to him. Should i?

Assuming, like me, your aunt is in her seventies (or older), sensitively suggest she see her doctor about her memory lapses. Forgetfulness is common in older folk, but if she's losing more and more memory, it could be a sign of dementia.(Hopefully not.)

Its interesting because she can remember certain things people said from 50 years ago, but can't remember what I said and hour ago. I dont get it.

Lots of older folk have short-term memory loss , but can remember things from generations back. I remember watching the TV drama "Lock Up" when I was three in 1956.

Have her take a spoonful of coconut oil at least once a day. You can even cook food in it instead of butter.
