All my pregnant couple friends say they want a baby girl and boys are not preferred to even have. Do you also feel the same way?

@captain-obvious
Because we already have the most adorable, precious little boy, I must be entirely honest in saying, that deep down in my heart I am hoping beyond hope that I'm now carrying a little girl.
However as long as "bump" arrives healthy and safe, then naturally we will be overjoyed and so very, very happy indeed.
Because I love the idea of being able to bond with a daughter over girly things, dress her up in beautiful dresses as a baby, style her hair. I feel like I’d be able to bond more with a daughter.
But what about bonding with a boy?
I’m sure I’d bond with him some way. But I just hope that I have a daughter in the future.

I'm guessing you're in a western country where males have been kicked to the bottom of the totem pole?
Males are losing worth in the West thanks to identity politics... worse if you're white and now even Asian apparently. Poor dudes lost in the rat race go trans just to not be what they've been taught is the evilest thing in the world... a straight white male.
That's why I'm a gay black woman now... I still like chicks, I get chick privilege and I'm suddenly good at sports...
... and I'm black now yo... give me my damn reparations! I'll burn down the Wendy's in my own neighborhood in a peaceful protest.
Well, that's just dumb.
I know a guy who said, "boys are assholes." Mind you, he has two sons. I'm like, "well, maybe you're the asshole." in my opinion, the boys are cool.
Guys are great, once we get over the immature idiocy of youth, and if we live that long.
Also, logically, how are they're going to be more kids, if all children are girls. This means there will be women sharing a dude because what else can they do? There's not enough men to go around.
My solution: raise boys to be strong, spiritually, mentally and physically. The strong don't do some of the weak shit women complain about in men, like indecisiveness, emotionally immaturity, etc.
Make more boys, goddammit!!
Nope I have 3 boys and they are soo much fun! I'm a little worried about if I ever do have a girl cuz it seems stressful especially once they hit their teen years. My 3rd baby was a surprise gender at birth and I cried tears of joy the moment he came out and i seen that he was a boy. Don't think I've ever been happier in my life😊
We’ve got a pair of boys and a girl. Oddly enough, both boys are total mamas boys and the daughter has bonded with my husband more than we anticipated. I feel like we both were happy with whatever we were going to be given, I’m glad that we have both :-)
I would, just because for the past three generations of my husband's side of the family there have not been any girls born and I want to know if it's even possible for us. It would take some weight off my mind. That said, I want to have at least 1 boy and 1 girl.
I would prefer a boy personally.
In France people usually don't care they just want healthy baby and find it weird for people to want a special gender but in America they're obsessed with having girls for some reasons.
Usually parents bonds with children the opposite sex of themselves so having a boy would be better. Also I don't wanna deal with a girl in her teen years. Too annoying.
Usually the girl wants a girl and the guy whats a boy and in the end one of each or more.
@laurieluvsit
That is precisely what we are hoping for.
I'd get new friends, since I prefer the option of none of the above.
My mum wanted sons both times. My dad wanted daughters both times. Their wish was fulfilled once, as I'm a girl and I have a brother.
The ladies usually want a girl and it's not very surpassing. The guys also usually want a boy.
I have two girls. I did really want a boy but I don’t want to go through with giving birth ever again Lmfao
I would like to have both boys and girls, so long as they're happy and healthy I'll be happy.
i used to prefer baby girl but now not anymore. whatever the gender, whatever the brainwirinh for example autistic or not autistic/NT i don't care.
Because its a gynocentric world. The female reality is the correct reality. It used to be men carry the family name. Now notice its women who won't even give up their name when they get "married". Gynocentric
I'd prefer to have a girl because I already have three sons and only one daughter.
What about 20 years later? Who is going to be the sperm donor?
Already had a girl, if I had another kid I would be OK with a boy.
I'd prefer a boy actually. Even more than one
Boys are better
