Haven't heard from my friend since being introduced to his other friend?

My friend wanted me to meet a friend of his that i've known about for a long time, but never actually was introduced to. I've known my friend for like 13 years now. Something tells me his friend said something about me and now my longtime friend seems to be ignorning me. So it's like really? Like if I said something that offended him or something why not talk to me about it? I wonder how often this happens? I have this same worry meeting a girls friends because if you don't get their approval I think the girl can be swayed sometimes.

I just don't have many friends and while he wasn't always the greatest friend, sometimes it's better than nothing. I guess this is just my cue to move onto something els.
