Should I continue to ignore them?

So basically, there is this group that I was kinda close with. After a while, I realized they were just using me for rides to places. I stopped talking to them outside work, not just because they were using me but because they were extremely negative. Side note, next week is my last week at this job that we all work at. They called me today and said to pick up the call. This was before I was supposed to meet up with my new boss to talk about all the info regarding my new job, but the boss didn't show up, but he texted me the info anyways. After the call and text, I was nervous and thought the next day at work, they would all team up to beat me up or something. If I am being realistic, I don't think they will do anything but if they did, I would maybe have a few friends that come help me. I just don't want them going after me or any of my friends/anyone important. Do I wait until I am done working a the place and block them, or what should I do? I just want to get out of this easily

It sounds to me like they're just using you for your rides. If they're super negative and aren't contributing anything towards a relationship with you, then it sounds like a toxic group to me. I would get out of the relationship and try to ignore them.

Also, if you're unsure, make a list of pros and cons about them. 😊

I mean, I am trying to get out of the group, but it seems like they're trying everything in their power to keep me in the "friend" group. I know they are way too negative for me to be around since they are anti-everything besides straight and white. The only pro of keeping them is I can joke about drugs with them that's it. It's funny with them because they actually do them, and I don't. But once I start my new job, I'll probably unfollow or block them and continue with my life. The pro and con thing is really good advice, my friend.. well former friend used it to break up with her toxic boyfriend who was after me for a reason that's a long story lol but yeah. It's been a rough year lol

I understand what you're saying. Luckily it is only a week that I have to speak very little at work so I can deal with it. If we are talking about the vibe. The vibe around those guys is probably one of the worst I've felt. Like I have a stutter and whenever I'm around my parents I thought it was bad around them because they tell me to just fix it even though it's not that easy. I thought it was bad around my parents until i saw the guys it's 20x worse.

They are for sure, those guys are not parents too much lol. Also, thank you, the new job is way better than I thought when I applied. But I'm going to start to workout incase they try anything in the next week. I doubt it but never know.

It doesn't sound sound like they're very good friends. Tell them you started driving for Uber and they need to download the app if they want to get picked up.
