What kind of father do you think you'll be or want to be if or when you kids?

Will you be an overprotective father, the fun dad, the authoritarian type? Would you take your children on outings and play games with them? And if you had a daughter would you be overprotective of her or laid back especially when she starts dating and taking an interest in boys? And if you have a son what all will you teach him? How would you bond with your child? Would you have special nicknames for each other and how would you want them to call you?

Growing up when my dad wasn't away on business trips or working really late me and him would play games or he'll take me to get pizza back when Pizza Hut was a buffet restaurant or to any fast food restaurant and get me a happy meal. My dad did buy me toys especially stuff animals, and he did spoil me. My father was and still is overprotective of me when it comes to guys. Before my dad got a job that required a good bit of traveling he did take care of me a lot when I was a baby and toddler during the day while my mom was at work (mom worked during the day while my dad worked at night during the time). He also gifted me an acoustic guitar for Christmas when I was 12 so I could play all the songs from My Chemical Romance to Jesse McCartney. During my teen years me and my dad fought a lot cause well I was a rebellious teenager trying to "self express" myself, but now that I'm older we get along perfectly fine. Also there are a lot of pictures of me and my dad and he is always the first person I call whether it's good news or bad news. And whenever I went through a breakup/heartache all I wanted was my dad (or daddy) and when I left my ex and was still trying to get better, my dad took me to the Dairy Queen and bought me a strawberry sundae (which is my favorite).
