In my family, my second-oldest sister would be the one - 27 years old, unemployed, single, lives in a gritty apartment, shuns everyone in our family and Is shunned by everyone.

Sometimes we hang out, but she never visits me and I always have to be the one going to her. Sometimes I give her rides and she has to comment on everything ("I thought you'd come with the Porsche") and overall act envious and mocking - like when she asked to see my daughter, that was the only time she visited and all the time she kept calling my home "Versailles".

I have a nephew who is 38 years old. He seems to be in the dull normal intellectual range, social awkward, no friends, doesn't date, has a felony drug conviction from about 20 years ago, and two DUI convictions. He has an ongoing drug problem (in remission at the moment) and steals from family to support his habit.
