Is it okay to keep a baby away from visiting other family members at their house when it smells of animal waste? AITA here?

My baby has a weekly arrangement to go visit his grandma at her location because she's tethered to her oxygen tank & doesn't have a portable one, but in the house also lives 3 kids, his aunt & uncle, 2 large dogs, 10+ cats, 20+ Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, 2 Snakes, a tortoise, 2 lizards, a giant centipede, a scorpion, & I know I'm missing a few more... It smells like a petting zoo.

I have told my SO that I will not let our baby stay in the house if it smells, as it isn't fair to our son to breathe in the disgusting air. He responds that his mom is our only babysitter on the weekends, but I counter with how bad it is for our son's health for him to be breathing in ammonia, especially when there is relatively no air circulation in the house.

Then, to make matters worse, they have a flea problem at the moment because they don't treat their cats & 8 of them are kittens too young to get medications. I don't like the idea of my son getting eaten by parasites.

I know his mom is up there in years & probably doesn't have much longer with us, but I said she can come downstairs on the porch to see the baby & we will be on our way. I know she looks forward to seeing & spending time with the baby, but I can't justify leaving him in an unhealthy house.

I don't know if I'm the one being unreasonable, but it's not something I want my infant in. Am I the asshole in this situation?
