Is it okay for me to talk to a 15 year girl online?

There is a girl on Twitter from England I have a friendship with.
We talk about politics and culture and things of that nature.
Recently she mentioned that she would be 15 years old.

I told her I thought she was knowledgeable and wise well beyond her years and it didn’t bother me but I wonder if it would considered improper for me to speak to her.

I don't think it's a good idea but aslong as it's in legal boundaries it should be fine.

If i was in your shoes when I found out I would of decided to tell her to no talk anymore due to that situation, it maybe fine and you done nothing wrong but society will see it differently no matter the situation.

With all the perverts, pedos and groomers out there, it will never be deemed acceptable even platonically for an older man to chat to an under age girl regularly online or hang out alone a lot in person unless it's on a professional basis like a private music teacher or something.
