Ever noticed how for a kid to have a bigger family it means their parents/grandparents need to separate?

It's kinda like how a Kid gets two birthday's if their parents split up. Irony that to get something great it needs to be because of doomed relationship. I just randomly thought this at 6am while thinking about how I have 2 grandads on my dad's side of course one not blood related to me.
