Talk with each other. You gotta both be honest though, otherwise there's no point.

And you can't be using reasons like "cos i just don't wanna", think long and hard about why you don't want that. The truth hurts sometimes, but lies always end up causing more hurt.

And please be gentle with her/him, it probably took a lot of courage to tell you what they did.
