Would you stay friends with someone who was rude to others, but super nice and loyal to YOU?

Sure. I'm not part of some hive mind. People that are my family, friends, allies, etc. don't have to be nice to everyone in the world. It's extremely common for groups of people (and other animals) that like each other to stick together and exclude others for many different reasons.

Honestly I wouldn't want to be around someone that was a people pleaser. If they are always trying to make people happy it comes off as fake and manipulative. Someone like that can't get close to me to begin with. So eventually they have to show disagreeable opinions. It's part of being human. If they voice those toward people I suppose that would be considered rude by the person that is the target, but it also shows that they have courage to stand up for what they believe. Courage is a good thing. People pleasers are also not loyal. They do not stick stick to their guns. They just want everyone to like them which means you will likely be subject to betrayal when the pressure is on for them to be accepted in the moment.

They will capitulate and you will be the sacrifice that is until they talk to you next time and try to shine shit to make you happy...

That sounds like me. I hate when it's done to me, yet I do it myself. Like they're the only person that matters. Everyone has their reasons for being the way they are, and in a way it's a nice feeling knowing they feel differently towards you, and it definitely creates a strong bond and sense of loyalty.

That's actually pretty accurate, except I think it's the other way around, with the selfish people usually being the fake ones.
They say the assholes are more respected, but they are the fake ones.
I'm a bit of a people pleaser, especially if I want a specific person to like me. But when I see they don't return the favor, or don't accept me the way I am, that's when I stop giving a shit.
A true friend will accept ALL your qualities, good and bad. And when you find that person, it's so easy to just be yourself, because you know they will stick by you, no matter what. So it becomes much easier to stop giving a shit what others think.
Better to have one true friend, then several fake friends.
I personally stopped giving a shit. If they can't accept me the way I am, they aren't worth my time and effort

It really depends upon how much and the degree of the mistreatment. I could not be around it all the time. I also would also appreciate his loyalty. Closest friends probably would not happen.
