Taking your kids out with your friends child/ and her partner without your friend?

I have a bestfriend who works a lot and I'm only in a little flat but I brought a padding pool and slip and slide to keep round hers for mine and her children.. my kids hardly get to go round to go on it because her working which i totally get!! But she said I can still go round because her partners there so the children can play? Is it weird if I go round my friends with only her partner and children there she doesn't mind as suggested but not sure how my partner would feel about it or if it is abit weird?

he's not the easiest to speak to aha if I even mention it to talk and see how he feels he would just kickoff if he diddnt like it
