Why would someone delete your contact?

My gay guy bestie got mad at me for something ridiculous and didn’t block me but deleted my contact from his phone 😅 why?

I think it is because they feel guilty for being a jack tard, but don't want to block you because they still care about you and expect to make up later.. but don't want to see your name pop up and remind them that they are jack tard. Makes it easier to screen their calls without the guilt.

I do this when I start dating someone, I delete all my previous girlfriends contacts without blocking them. because you never know you might hook up later, but you don't want your girl friend seeing a message from a chick popping up. But this guy is gay so that's not the case.
