Is it too late?

So my cousin was about 5 months pregnant. She is one of my older cousins so I didn’t really talk to her. But I did take her to one of her appointments. We talked there and she also gave me my first car. I have never been really the talker if the family so they don’t hear me speak much. Anyway. She named the baby even planned out her shower and etc. unfortunately she lost it. I wanted to text and let her know I cared but i don’t really know what to say in these situations. I am very anxious. I don’t want her to think I don’t care though. But it’s been a few weeks I don’t want to remind her of it If she has processed it enough not to be sad. I don't know. Is it too late to check in?

I know 3 people who lost their babies and had to bury them. There is never really any words that you can say that can really provide any source of comfort so soon after someone has lost their baby because the parent is grieving that sometimes words can be a trigger for someone or they are full of emotions and grief that dont hear the words someone is saying. As for time, maybe try and reach out to your cousin now
