When I was way younger that's the last thing in the world that I wanted but after I got married and I had my son it was the best thing in the world that could ever happen to me there's no way I can even explain the best parts about it and the whole thing was the best part it is the best part to this day still if I was to go out with a girl and if I was to get her pregnant right now first of all it's going to be a girl that I like being with it's going to be a girl that I really enjoyed and I really like and to be honest with you I would not want to have a baby right now in this moment of time because of where this planet is heading where we are as a country where we're headed there's so many things that I believe that are happening and if they are going to happen you do not want to bring a kid up in that world because if the things that I think are going to happen if they do happen it's going to be hard taking care of yourself let alone a baby and if something was to happen to you when you have that baby who's going to take care of that baby if something was to happen to you that's the part I dislike right there because of who I am because of what I believe in I would protect this country I would fight for every kid in this planet because I don't want them to have to go through what they're going to have to go through and I need to know that I'm going to be around to protect that child to love that child to teach that child and that's the part that would scare me if something was to happen to me is there anybody that could really trust to bring my kid up the way that I would want him to be brought up for her to be brought up other than that let's go have a baby right now I mean that's how much I love kids you get to a certain age and you understand that this world this life is not all about you it's about others and when you can have a child and you can focus on that child and give your all to that child to become the best person they can actually become in 10 times 100 times better than you there is a joy there is an excitement there is an emotion that you get from that that is just so cool because you succeeded in life I think when you can do something like that

Weirdly, voted C, but E is right, too.

My girlfriend and I have three and if she told me tomorrow that she was pregnant again you would not be able to wipe the smile off my face.

In fact, every now and then I'll tell her I want another baby. Then she acts the practical one and says that we have our hands full with three. (Currently ages, 9,8, and 6 - boy, boy, girl.)

Truth be told, I am totally in love with my girlfriend and our little family. (We don't want to be married.) I would not change a thing.

However, I won't lie. I see a couple with a new little baby - or even a woman expecting a baby - and I get wistful for the days when my children were just little babies and I would hold them in my arms and kiss them and play with them.

On top of all this, about three years ago I found out that I had a son with a woman that I had a one night stand with. I didn't really know her and she got pregnant, but opted not to tell me until he was 12 - he is now 14. (She tracked me down, told me, I got a test and yup - he is my son.)

You'd think that I would be upset. No doubt, I was a bit thrown at first, but he is a great kid, I love him with all my heart. My only regret is that I missed so much of his young life and now I am making up - with the full support of my girlfriend, the mother of my other three children - for lost time.

Bottom line, yup, men - at least this man - definitely gets baby fever.

Emotionally and mentally I'm ready for kids, but financially I'm unfortunately not ready. I want to give my baby boy or baby girl the best and comfortable life I can. I adore kids and the day that I'm ready and I find out that I'll be a mommy I'll be so ecstatic that I probably wouldn't be able to contain myself. I already know how to take care of babies, toddlers, and teenagers. I know how I want my birth plan if I ever give birth, I've read up on feedings, when they should see the pediatrician, when and what kind of shots they need, the best childcare facilities, as well as prenatal care and afterwards. I take care of the babies and all the children in the church nursery. And I've dealt with the teenagers, and even though they can be a pain in the rear and neck they can be entertaining from time to time. The day I'm fully I'm going to not only be ecstatic but enjoy every second of my pregnancy and just with my blessings. And how many, maybe 2 or 4 kids and I want them at least 2 years apart.

I had my daughter at 18 because I knew I was ready then. It was this all consuming feeling.
Nothing prepares you for having children even when you feel the most ready, you’re still not as ready as you think you are. it’s nothing like you imagine whilst being everything you imagine.
I don’t think I would be doing a better or worse job if I had waited. It happens and you adapt to it.
Being in the right place or not in the right place makes little difference in the end

I'm pregnant, so I have mo choice but to be ready. I think no one is ever truly ready because parenting is a new experience to learn. If you have a great parenting figure in your life, then you can use that as guidelines when it comes to raising your own kids.

I can't wait to meet my daughter, I want to do the best that I can for her.

I think I would be down if I had an amazing woman already in my life. I guess I feel like I’m starting to get too old. I know that’s crazy because I’m only 29, but I don’t want to settle down with a woman that I’m not actually that crazy about, just because I’m feeling pressure to have kids, you know? No , they're very annoying. I dont have the time or patience to stop my life for a kid. There is so much associated with having kids that people fail to understand. Women are always stuck with the kid the right partner is needed, a child should always have two parents, cost, finding babysitters, having family support, decent baby sitters at that, your health. Women don't realize how much they're sacrificing. The women his the nanny, the house keeper, the chef, the chauffeur, the teacher, the grocery shopper , and still expected to look good post pregnancy. While the man does nothing but work expect sex and food on the table.

I got pregnant by accident, my birth control (pill form) failed. My boyfriend & I had the conversation about whether or not to abort the fetus, & decided to keep it.
Age wise, I felt like it was an appropriate time to have kids (25yo), but defining "ready" is hard unless it was a planned pregnancy, which mine was not.
I love my son & I'm happy that he is in my life, but it's hard. Fun, but hard.

I do for sure want kids and I dont know that I will ever actually be ready for them. But I do feel like I have had a decent amount of prepping for them if someday I do. It just funny because the older I get the less I feel like it is right to have kids… lol! I mean once you have one you need to be able to pay in to them for twenty years right. Well, I don't really have the money to provide for one, still live with my parents, and have major anxiety when it comes to a lot of things, so no. I don't think I'm ready to bring a kid into this world. And if I did right now, I already know I would be a shitty parent because of all the previous stress and the now added stress of having a child and I couldn't handle it all.

I don't have kids and don't plan to. I would like to but I don't believe in having kids out of wedlock, I don't think marriage a good thing for most men today, and fathers / husbands get screwed in today's legal system. I don't see any of that changing while I'm young enough to be a father.
