Why do People act like you're their bestfriend when you say you wanna kill yourself. But never try to be in your life even if you ask them too?

It's because they value their life, and when they see someone going to end theirs, it goes against their morals and values. They must try and stop, or it would go against their humanity and everything they believe in. It's why people throw people into the mental hospital if they try to hurt themselves, and they do not give euthanasia to people. They see the person in pain and refer them to mental health services. They would not give up on life, and they cannot understand why you would.

People want to be seen as moral, as helpers. They want to feel like they're doing something good, but they're also the same ones who either dont see or refuse to address major red flags. They don't care then enough to even ask if you're doing OK, but suddenly they care when the ropes around your neck. It's disingenuous.

I'd rather someone let me go, than insult me with fake care.

Just because you don’t want someone to kill themselves doesn’t mean they aren’t a draining person to be around.
