Should I confess my female best friend that I feel I want more?

We are besties for over a decade now, since school. We talk about everything, we act silly together and we both think each other is attractive physically and mentally. I am afraid she sees me as a "brother" and me asking her will ruin our close connection.

Do you think I can still ask and even with a rejection we can be best friends? How to engage a conversation like this?

I think that its a risk that may be worth taking if you dont mind losing a "close" friendship if it backfires. The way how you have to think about this situation is if your relationship really was that legitimate and close then if all it takes is this to ruin it, then how close was it to begin with? Clearly its not as good of a friendship as you think. On the other-hand she may feel the same way about you and is too afraid to ask out of the same fear as you have.

Sometimes in life you just gotta roll the dice and hope for the best buddy!
