Ok, a reinterpretation for modern times would be along the lines of,
"I wish good health and a long life for Karen's who keep busting the balls of my manager, because he's a dick"

Now that I think about it a little more, the literal meaning makes more sense in the warring ages. Since you'd use this to express wishes to a host, friend, etc., it mainly implies that their problems resolve themselves without your intervention.
