Been very weird about it too the point That I don’t think he’s interested and I’m living in a new area anyways with my family and friends living an hour and a half plus away would it be weird to confront him and say hey I do like you and I do understand your not interested but can we hang just as friends like I need new friends I don’t do anything with anyone? Like I don’t want to be weird but I do love his personality and we get along great and I have fun with him when we work together

If you were to be completely upfront and honest with him on the matter sometimes people are just so unaware of the way another person feels for them. Even if he is not intended for a relationship at least he'll know exactly how you feel and just be friends. Sometimes people who are just friends all so go on to be in love with each other and have an amazing life together. But these type of things can tear a person's mind to shreds only thinking about when might be. At least you have the opinion of being attached to someone else who will be interested in you. I know that from personal experience with this I was completely upfront and honest with this woman I liked and she ended up being in a long term relationship with me because I was honest with her and my feelings.
