My mom is jealous when I love my girlfriend. What to do?

A quick brief. I'm 26, she's 22. She my neighbour and close family friends. We know eachother for 20+ years. She's studying in a different state and I'm working from home. She visit home only once in 2 or 3 months. So We really get eager to meet. Her family is against our relationship because they want her to focus on only studies. (They'll be fine after her graduation).

They don't really like me going alone. So I only go their home with my mom.

But my mom sometimes really get angry If i ask her to come with me or whenever I support her or her family in some matter or if I buy her something. She say things like "you only want her and her family, one day you'll kick me out.." kinda rubbish.

I tried to talk about this, but she's continue to say such things. What can I do?

No buddy.. it's my own home and my parents are weak. So live with them. I can help them too

Your Mom might be fearful of her "well-being". Sometimes, our parents are kids and need reassurance of Value. She needs clarification of your intention with both parties. And if she wants Grandma and likes your Neighbor character..."I think she's a good Mom and Wife woman".

Mother is in no-man-land... always be Mom. Reassurance and NOT I'm growing up now... Positive rather than negative... Make sense?
