Guy friend wants to meet my grandma?

So just a bit of a question here, why does my guy friend wants to meet my family so bad? Like especially my grandma? I talk about her a lot when we're all together in a group. He was disappointed he didn't get to meet her the other time because he was with his family. But he keeps saying how he wants to come to my house to meet my grandma, and to tell her he's being serious about meeting her. He also says his he doesn't want a relationship with anyone until he's well established in life. But I don't know, is this normal for a guy friend to do or say? Why does he only want to meet my grandma and no one else's?

I've never heard of a guy so excited to get a meeting with somebody's grandma before, lol.

Maybe he just thinks it's a way to get closer to you, or maybe he's kind of eccentric and nosy, and he's legitimately curious to talk to her. Or maybe he likes older women, WAY OLDER.

That's unique lol but as you mentioned that you talk about your grandma a lot, he must be really curious. Even I'm really curious and want to badly meet my friend's mom. My male best friend really wanted to talk with my cousin brother and now they both are best friends and roast me, about my school and family life both 💀

Probably because you are so close to your grandma and he wants to meet this amazing woman he's heard so much about.
