I don't think it's our "duty".

.. But I love with my parents with all my heart and personally want to give as much as I received. Thankfully my parents are all set in regards to retirement but my mom had sccess to my bank account. If they ever needed money i wouldn't mind

If you are lucky enough to have parents, you should help them in any way you can.

No, they want what is best for you. They lived their lives for you, and they want to do the same for their grandchildren. Still, give them a hand, but you need to come first.
