My grandma gave me her mom’s handmade doilies…but not the lace ones. They are crocheted from bright pink, blue, yellow, and white yarn. I can’t imagine finding a place for them. My friend said keep one and donate the rest-that there’s no use keeping things that are of no use/make clutter/cause unhappiness. She has a point…but I feel like a horrible person if I did this. It’s not like my great grandma just bought these-she made them. Of course, I only “knew” her as a baby…I also thought about just asking my grandma if I could keep one and she could dole out the rest to other family members…any other ideas of what I could do with them? I don’t have my own home yet so storage is minimal…but I hate to hurt my grandma’s heart 💜
