Why do so many miserly and entitled people choose to become parents?

If this cruel world had it's way, the adult age will be 15, then the child will be forced to move out at 15.

Parents love to control child's life until they're 18 and then throw them away out of the house to work a job they hate.

What's the rush about?

They control, demand, restrict their kids and then expect their kid to be earn $100,000.

They had $1000 with them but they didn't even choose to give you your favorite $10 meal when you were a KID.

They insult kids who are below 18 :

"I'm the one who brings you food, clothes, education fees and let you live under a decent roof".

"Look at me, you'll never be as ahead as I am in my life".

"You will never learn XYZ or be able to survive properly in real world".

Then after the kid becomes an adult, they try to control them more : "get a prestigious job and start helping us with everything".

Now you're expected to earn AS WELL AS "take care" of your loser parents financially and also do chores for them for the rest of your life!

Why do parents give you the bare minimum but expect the whole world from you? They neglect you, isolate you, insult you but now they want you to support them financially and physically?

I've seen my parents doing some of the things you mentioned but I'm not surprised because they're shitty parents. They never loved me or cared for me, and they never will.

I guess they become parents either because they had sex and a pregnancy happened or because they felt that they needed to have kids so they could prove something to society. ´

My sisters are shitty mothers too. They will end up being like my parents. It's really sad and the cycle of humiliation and abuse will never end.

I will never become a mother because what my narcissist mom taught me was that kids owe you every single thing, kids should be there for your needs first no matter what, kids should let you control their life BUT the reality is opposite. I have damaged teenage years so I don't feel the need to take care of someone when I'm already empty. I need to heal myself for the eternity.

No offense at all my dear. Call my mum whatever you want. I don't even see her as a mom. She's my biggest and worst enemy. Always bullied me, harrassed me and abused me. Everytime tells me how I'm getting all the bare minimum, how I'm dependent on her (I was just 8-10 years old). When my grandmother who raised me passed away, she abused me alone, threw my food on the floor, called me a failure, I was just 16 years old that time. When I'm 23 and graduated with a degree, she wants me to either get a fat paycheck or be her house maid 24/7. Not allowing me to explore and experiment. I'm alive because of my father or else I would have committed suic***de a long time ago.

I'm so sorry to hear that your mother acts this way. She sounds like mine; I can relate to many of the things you said. I'm so glad you had your grandmother and your father to protect you.
Don't let her ruin your life, you're better than her. She's a miserable human being who doesn't deserve your attention. I'm glad you're still alive. Honestly, I hope you don't have to deal with her anymore. Stay strong!

Stop asking, leave them and never look back. I know it's hard if you're living with those toxic parasites. Because they made kids for their selfish needs. They think if they give you the bare minimum just to keep you ALIVE, you automatically owe them Ferrari, 5 star hotels, Gucci and a luxurious villa with many servants.

A lot of parents are like that. They think the kids have it so easy, yet all the teenagers are dying from suicide and dying from overdoses. They are suffering from mental illnesses more than ever before.

The baby boomers ruin the whole economy, and then they blame it on their grandkids and kids when they were the ones that wasted all the money.
