My child’s grandparents wants to be in his life?

My child’s dad doesn’t want me or our child’s so i decided to be a single mother but his mom still wants to be in the picture and help me. I think that’s strange should i let her be a grandmother or just keep doing this by myself

If she’s stable and could be beneficial then I don’t see an issue. But would it cause issues between her and her son. I would be worried that her being apart of the child’s life would bring resentment towards both her and the child from baby daddy. Or if he would end up changing his mind (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing) but I would be apprehensive about him deciding to cut ties again.

Whether you let her in your and your child's live is up to you, but she is and always will be his grandmother!

If she is a stable woman and if you think it would be beneficial for the child then I would not be opposed to the idea. It’s delicate but what’s best for the child, long term, is the deciding factor for me.

My child’s father still stays with his mom. So i think that would be awkward
