If your 19 or 20 year old bro or son were in a sexual relationship with a near 60 year old man or woman , how would you react?
967 opinions shared on Relationships topic. If it were my son , I'd go get him outta there , he'd have Grandma syndrome.
I like older men for my daughters , but not ridiculously older , 10 years or so I guess , my eldest stretched this slightly , they have been together many years.

7 moIf age 20 son with age 55 lady i would worry it is not natural in terms of fruitful. I would probably hint that i noticed. I might even complain "i want a grandchild. He could have children if he dated younger."
But age 20 daughter with age 55 man is within natural fruitful range, so i would probably praise the man for acheivement attracted a young lover.

7 moI’ll suggest them not to do it, if they don’t listen just do what they want to do. Their life their rules, but never expect a single dollar from me anymore from now or in the future when i die.

7 moI would tell them I don't agree and think its disgusting besides outing there partner and shaming them there isn't much I could do about it.

Calling them a pedo and not being nice to the person.

I rather be crazy then be nice to some gross weirdo using my kid for sex. Luckily my children will be raised smarter than that and they will treat sex more important than just sleeping with anyone.
- 7 mo
No it's getting taken advantage of or manipulated 🤮 but I won't have bottom of the barrel kids who would even consider stooping so low to consider grandparents 🤣
- 7 mo
I think you do. Since you think someone that old, is of sound mind sleeping with someone young enough to be their grandchild. Weirdos.
- 7 mo
You have some weirdo fantasies 🤢

I rather keep degeneracy out of my life, so no thanks..

I'm a psycho because I don't believe in super big age gaps? Get a life loser, not everyone has to agree with your skewered views..

Okay sure and what does that make you, when you are the one with a fake account pretending to be a 27 year old woman and keep writing to me for no reason? You are the one with a screw loose.

Play nice girls’ no reason to get bent out of shape over differences of opinions , Some people don’t like age gaps and some people don’t Mind age gaps , it is what it is , you can either accept it or not. Everyone makes their own choices and decisions in life once you hit legal age of consent , you are no longer your parents’ problem , you are the laws problem , we can try to raise our kids’ the way we want them to be , but when push comes to shove it doesn’t always go as planned. Being a parent myself , I found that out the hard way. All we can do as parents’ is pray our children make the right decisions in life and pray they are happy and content with their lives. If they fall head over heels for someone we don’t approve of , sadly there is nothing you can really do about it , if they want to date that person, they are going to date that person whether you like it or not. No one can choose who you fall for. You can give them advice but you can’t force them to date who you want them to date. All you can do is pray that they are happy and safe and not being forced against their will. Age gaps don’t really mean shit if both people are happy with each other. I know a bunch of age gap couples that are happier than can be. , so I don’t say a word , it’s their life and their decision period ,

7 moI'd stay out of it. It's their life. If they came to me and asked for advice, I'd point out the disadvantages of a large age difference, but only if they asked.

@emmil Nope. My adult son is responsible for his actions. No longer my job to baby him.

7 moIt's their own life and preferences. At 18 they're an adult free to make their own choices. I can only hope that I've raised them well enough to make intelligent ones and know what to look for.
00 Reply 4.4K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Not much I could do about it , I would express my feelings of concern to my kid and make sure they were happy and safe , so that’s all that matters to me , is if they are both happy with each other.

7 moWell it would depend I don’t have kids that age so it’s hypothetical. But once they’re adults I can’t much control them.
00 Reply WTF!
How's this even possible?
In my country there are many reasons why this kind of sexual relationship will happen.
The age gap (40) is much if it's only for sexual pleasure.
If I have a son that's involved in this I will do everything within my reach to end it. I know people will it's his life but as a parent I can't sit and watch my son live a miserable life.
What's even attractive in a 60 year old woman?01 Reply
Anonymous(25-29)7 moApparently my mom thought it was fine. She let my 18 year old sister spend time with a 50 year old "friend" and he wanted to have sex with her.

7 moThey will either end this relationship or they will end up homeless and disinherited. And something really bad will happen to the 60 years old.

Pigs would be better though. They leave just teeth and hair.

No because they would end up dead all the same.

7 moObviously very disappointed however he is an adult and I would have no control over his decision.
11 Reply 439 opinions shared on Relationships topic. If they were ok there and able to show they're not being taken advantage of or are not abusing the other then let them be.
10 ReplyI would probably be a little concerned about the relationship, but if that’s what they wanted who cares

Most likely he wouldn’t listen to anything negative about their relationship.05 Reply4.8K opinions shared on Relationships topic. If that happens you failed as a parent and it's too late.
