Was I wrong to ignore a friend who constantly goes on their phone when we hangout?

He came to visit me from another country but he made me feel bad about myself as he was texting his other friend the entire time and giving me quick "yeah yeah" when I tried to ask questions about him. He actually asked me again if he could visit me again this November all the way from Canada. I actually just gave up on him and didn't respond as I'm just done with bad friendships

Awful I'd never talk to him again. I remember when I lived in Canada he took me a lift home after work and he said "can you hurry up" in a bad tone but I had a lot of stuff to get out the car
