I told them I was infallible. Because the place I worked at was really toxic, it was poorly managed and was impossible to succeed. Rather than accepting that it was a low wage/high turnover position and that wasn't going to change, so either change jobs or just accept this. I tried to argue how much better I was. Which was not just stupid but pointless. But hey, I was young.
