My work place cared more about my birthday than my family

It ticks me off when people forget my birthday - especially my wife 😞💔. I say hey do you know what today is? She says yeah may 22 so? I said nothing significant about that date comes to your mind? She said no? Why? I said how old am I? She said 43. I said nope I’m 44…. Today! She said oh schit I’m sorry it’s your birthday! She tried to give me a kiss and I turned away and said no no I guess I’m not that important to remember. She wrapped her arms around my rib cage and pulled me down and gave me a big kiss on the lips. She said happy birthday honey. What would you like for your birthday? I said I’d like to go to the hobby shop and pick up a few paints. When we got there she handed me a basket and said fill it with what you want. Happy birthday 👍🙂. I filled up that basket with a model kit and spray paints, and thinners, and bottle paints and sandpaper. Came to nearly 200 bucks and she paid for it. ❤️👍🙂. One of my best birthdays ever. 😃👍
