The individual in question for example has more then just unstable finances. somebody have a crush on them and their trying to avoid romantic relationships so they can get their things back in order

Oh so is the person trying to stay friends with a lady but doesn't want to date her until they get them self sorted out? If so I would stay friends but if he was trying to make it more than friends no I would ditch him.

Yes. The person only wants to be friends but the lady wants more. I know everybody’s is different. Friends yes. Relationships no.

As long as the guy isn't leading her on in anyway yeah it is safe to stay friends, but if you don't see her as a romantic partner at all I would recommend just telling her straight out.

I don't loan money to anyone ever, friends, or family so wouldn't happen here. They can go to a bank and get a loan, do a payday loan or car title loan, whatever works.
