My daughter is "trans race"?

My 15-year-old Turkish daughter started to say that she is Algerian and she hates her look because when it's cold she has light skin in winter (we live in a cold climate) and she uses a foundation 3 shades darker than her skin to look "more Algerian". she is constantly braiding her hair and trying to have curly hair. I try to explain to her that not every Algerian has curly hair and dark skin, but she doesn't listen. She says she more comfortable with it. She had been crying about why she didn't have curly hair and her skin color become lighter in the cold climate. I don't want to offend her... and part of our family is connected to North Africa. she begs us every day to move to Algeria. what can I do? How can I make her Happy? She looks so sad...

There's no such thing as "transracial". No one can't change their race and the ones who attempted to do so failed miserably.

Your daughter needs to accept herself. Maybe you could make her talk to Turkish women who feel good about themselves. Or you could show her examples of successful Turkish women. You could tell her that there's nothing wrong with being Turkish and having her features. Another thing you can do is finding a therapist for her. She needs help.
