Dude it's not transphobic to choose not to drug and mutilate your child, she is correct. You can choose to disagree all you want, but it doesn't change reality, she turned into a beautiful woman. And her parents were right not to put her on hormones and surgically mutilate her.
She was a tomboy. Bit a trannie. Just because a child likes opposite gender stuff doesn't mean that you should mutilate them and place them on hormones that will destroy their chances at children.. People that believe in doing that to a child should not breed. They should collectively win Darwin awards.
Not** not bit.
I thought I just idolized men in my life too. So I went to therapy, worked that out along with a few other possible causes, and would you believe it? That silly dysphoria was still there. It just wouldn't go away. So after one last month of trying to stay in good old denial, I accepted that it wasn't going to go away, and that I was trans. If I had had access to hormones before puberty, I would not need surgery now. I don't blame my parents though. They didn't know any better.
Everybody's story is different. That's why it's important to have good Healthcare and education about it, so that kids who think they're trans and aren't can figure that out, and kids who are trans and don't understand it can figure out what their options are and what a realistic path foreward can be, whether they decide to transition socially, medically or not at all.
I can help you figure that out! Here's a quick trick: hold a white shirt next to your bare face in natural light. If your skin looks rosy or pinkish next to the white, you likely have cool undertones. If your skin looks more yellow next to it, then warm tones might be your match!
She isn't wrong. Without doctors doing the disgusting stuff to these people it would not be possible to be "Trans".

Just because someone dealt with internalized misogyny from their childhood or idolized their male relatives, it's not transphobic. Come on. Since when is it transphobic that parents let their children grow up and figure themselves out without resorting to medical measures that could impact their lives severely? If they wanna live as the opposite gender, fine, just call them by their name of choice and change the pronouns. Let them socially transition and see if that makes them happier. Send them to therapy to work out their dysphoria and make sure that they get in a healthier place first before making heavy decisions. Maybe their issues don't stem from that but from an entirely different place.
I'd rather have a happy and healthy trans-kid who decided themselves as an adult, above the age of 18, that they want to go through with their transition instead of jumping to conclusions bc my child was a tomboy and risking that I could ruin their life. I was a tomboy myself with one hell of internalized misogyny that I needed to work out, and I still am more tomboyish than feminine.
If I got money from every damn conservative telling me "you're not a real girl bc of the way you dress and behave" and every progressive telling me now "you're not a real girl bc of the way you dress and behave, you're just an egg", I'd be rich.
This is the case a lot of the time. There was a girl on my street who was like that and another in my class in grade school back in the 90s. Both were "tom boys" and hated everything girly. They eventually passed that phase and now, in their early 30s, are hyper feminine.
If they were growing up now, they'd be persuaded to become transgender.
Often time “progress”, isn’t. I look forward to sanity and common sense coming back into vogue some day.
@Flatmanlewis Exactly, we're not progressing at all.
I don’t like labeling anyone who doesn’t agree with medically pumping children with life changing drugs “transphobes”. The entire discussion on trans youth has flown off the rails and into proverbial hell. A lot of countries health organizations are taking a step back and re-evaluating their treatment plans right now. America is always behind the curve. I think there are going to be some unprecedented lawsuits coming.
Everyone has their own age for when they know who they are.
Personally I figured that shit out when I was 8 so for me if I wanted that surgery back then I 100% would of been stating what I wouldn't turn back on later after it's to late.
For this girl is seems she didn't figure it until after 12.
Which is why there is no clean answer as people subjectively figure it out.
Many gender-confused children grow out of it:

Giving a child gender reassigning surgery when they still believe in Santa and the Easter bunny is child abuse. What do they know about anything at that age let alone changing the physical appearance of their body that is forever no going back. The young lady is your prime example of why not to do any changes till age 18 when they can make their own decisions. Until then parent should be the guiding factor.
What do you mean transphobe? She's happy she didn't go trough with it and seems to be happy with the outcome as like many who don't go trough with it she grew out of it and now has a nicer life ahead of her.
Had she been given what she wanted back then she probably would have offed herself by now. It seems to go hand in hand with this willful self-mutilation.
There is a difference between being transgender and being a tomboy. I am happy that she knows she was always meant to be a girl, but it invalidates the experiences of those with true gender dysphoria.
Where's the transphobia? She seems like a rational girl who was just going through a phase. I do agree with her. Huge props to her parents for being sane
Sanity has nothing to do with it as such surgeries are illegal for minors.
This is the reason that minors should not be making transgender decisions, nor should their parents.
More power to her... and her parents.
No, that's, Thank God they were not brainwashed by the leftists idiots.
She don't look like no boy.
At a young age I wore hairties. Kids do a lot of gender defying things. What matters is whether or not it continues into secondary school.
Her parents actually loved her. And she turned into a smoke show.
No not at all most of the time girls grow out of wanting to be a boy and if they don't, they can get the surgery when they become an adult.
Common sense. All this pretending to be the opposite gender bs has to seriously stop already.
The whole trans thing is insane, her parents did the right thing, she was just a tomboy.
What if she actually was trans
What if she was?
@Jamie05rhs that would be tuff
How so?
@Jamie05rhs cause her parents wouldn’t support her
That would be tuff cuz she would regret it but that’s life
"that's life"? I'm sure it would be extremely tragic. I can't even imagine the mental and emotional turmoil someone in that situation would be going through. Not to mention the physical problems.
Not trying to give you a hard time. Just something to think about.
@Jamie05rhs yah I said that tuff like that’s bad. i think life is tragic and if you regret decisions you can’t always change them back. And someone in that situation is probably how a real transgender person feels so have sympathy for everyone iguess
Word
@Jamie05rhs uh oh
so she was just a tomboy with issues, who cares XD
China is behind all of this.
I am also thankful that her parents were sane.
I hope she doesn’t get cancelled.
sounds like a douchebag boy
as usual
She's not wrong.
