Does it even matter? A child is still a human being. They have rights just like any other. The freedom of speech and expression. Some forget that they have a mind of their own and can make their own decisions. There is nothing wrong with transgenders so I don't know why you'd even bring this up with what is going on with our politics.
I think you're reaching to try and seem controversial. Her parents aren't forcing her to dress a certain way, it's how she likes to look. It's a child choosing their own clothes, that's it. Not everything had to be a social issue, let kids be kids
This isn't how kids should be. They should be playing in the street, watching cartoons, having a childhood! This isn't a childhood. Kids shouldn't have be choosing political issues like gender issues. Leave kids out of it.

We can't tell what the parents are doing from seeing this picture but obviously it's not natural. This kid is being shaped to a different gender. There's nothing childhood like about that.

We can't tell if they are, "Choosing clothes they like and doing activities they like to do." We do know from looking at the picture that the child is physically changing and the parents are supporting that which is sutible for my opinion as morally wrong since they are clearly changing a kid to a different gender.

Changing a kids gender is wrong no matter who says it's okay. Even if it's not forced it's still wrong. A kid who wants that doesn't know what their doing. A parent should have enough imtution to decipher a child's choices and not make these rash decisions. Kids say stuff all the time doesn't mean you give them what they want. If it's just clothes, they're fine. It's no worse than naming you kid North West and better than forcing the to master an instrument or sport (cough Lavar Ball cough cough) for your own fame. If a parent gets a kid a sex change, that's not. I think that is an adult decision that no parent should make.

The way, I see it is that they aren't turning the kid into a transgender. They are letting the kid be a kid while the rest of the world tries to turn kids into cis gendered ( males or females)
gender and gender roles are social construct... so why should we have to obey them.

If your hypothetical parents are dressing their hypothetical little boy in pink ruffles as an experiment to change his nature, that's unethical.
If it's because the little boy showed signs of a feminine side, it gets more complicated at the very least and might be alright.
There was a trending story about a boy who chose to wear heels to kindergarten or some-such. Some family members freaked out. My only concern is he might not have understood heels are feminine.
Seems harmless enough provided the child agrees, although I think it would be a mistake to administer hormones or give surgery. Most women prefer a partner who understands their sexual feelings and transgenders are particularly good at that.

I think that the freedom to express themselves is more beneficial to a child. Forcing a boy to wear jeans and be interested in martial arts and robots when he doesn't want to be is just as fucked up as forcing him to be interested in pink, ruffles and make up. Let the child do what they want, that's what's going to make them happy and you shouldn't force your own desires or opinions onto them.
I was not talking about forcing into anything. Forcing is the word when two lesbians adopt a little boy and turn him into a girl. Normally not a single little boy would want that. I was talking to gently directing a child in the right direction.
But I don't think the 'right direction' for a boy is necessarily fighting and robots. I'm not gonna 'gently nudge' my child in either direction, regardless of gender. Only thing I'm gonna tell my kid to do in terms of how they play or dress or learn is to learn how to swim. Other than that, my kid is free to do what they want. If my male child wants to play with dolls and have long hair and likes pink, good for him, he can do that. If my male child wants to play with robots and have short hair and likes blue, good for him, he can do that. Similar situations for a girl. They should do what makes them happy, even if it's not following a stereotype of how they should behave. I've never heard of any lesbian couple adopting a boy and forcing him into anything and the picture you used isn't from a situation like that either, she's married to a dude and their other kids conform to gender stereotypes, implying she's genuinely doing that because her kid asked her.

do you see what you just said there, "making him", let the child choose their own path, offer guidance and provide good examples, but don't impose your own biased beliefs on them. the more you force them the more they will resist.
