Is there anything you are naturally good at?

For me, it was always writing. When I was a kid, I got placed into UIL writing competitions, and I blew everyone’s minds away when I was in third grade at my first competition.
The questions were randomly generated and you had one and a half hours to write a story based on what was asked. The question asked was “what or who had the biggest impact in your life thus far?”

I wrote a story called, “The Explanation or Death to a 7 Year Old.”

I wrote about my introduction to death as a concept by losing a close friend. In the story, I had written about my pursuits to find out what death was from my parents to a pastor from various religions to thinking about the concept of death myself.

Older adults were telling me they were very shocked and surprised about the story I had written. It was just natural to me. I’m currently writing a book at the moment but it’s all for fun. I’m not sure I’ll ever become famous because I have other hobbies and passions. I don’t have much time for writing anymore but I do enjoy it.
