Girls, did you have a good relationship with your mother?

I know not everyone has the best parents. Some of them came from broken homes or had bad relationships with their parents. How was yours? For those who lost their mother, do you miss her?

No amount of money can buy you a mom. There are definitely people who had abusive moms but think of it like this. Your mother or rather the motherly figures in a man's life are very important and blessings. If you have motherly figure in your life you can be sure God is has sent you help in some form.

Be it foster, adoptive, bio, or just some older women in your life.

I am happy to have my Mom. I know I get annoyed sometimes but I can't see her hurt. And I have penpal friend and she is lovely too. For those who might think I am preying on her etc. She is 15 years older and she has children and not beautiful as one might imagine in movies lol. But she always tells me some good advice. I mean sure I would not have passed the opportunity to marry her but she is definitely not in her prime as you might say. She is very very intelligent and wise )).

And it's not wrong. If I was young I might not accept someone other then my real mom but overtime I have come to value them and I think God sent help in my difficult times ))

I did not have a great relationship with my mom. 😢

She passed in 2004.

That's a really difficult question. I wasn't glad she died. I don't wish death on anyone. That said, the drama with her was finally over. Her being mean was finally over. So in that sense, there was some relief, yes. From a very practical, physical perspective, she had had some heart issues, and vascular issues, and a leg amputation and was generally in a lot of pain -- her death relieved her of that.

So, yes, I cared but I'm not going to lie and say that there wasn't some relief.

Yes and no.

My mom was the BEST mom and all my friends wanted her to be their mom too... when I was little (elementary school age).

After my parents divorced, she became narcissistic, selfish, cruel, and a raging feminist out for everyone's blood.

My father remarried and I loved my step-mom, but we didn't have a mother/daughter bond. She has since passed away.

I had a pretty good relationship with my mom. No real issues…. and she always pushed us to be our best (in school).
