Why does she care so much about her babydaddy?

My girlfriend has a kid with this guy and he hasn't even been by to pick the kid up in like 6 months. I keep telling her to not call him or his family to try to make him but she will keep calling him and also now she is "demanding" he give her his address which is crazy because he doesn't even seem to want to see the kid so why would she even want this. Is this just because of the child or is something else going on?

She wants to have some sort of control over him. If I was you it would be hard in a relationship like this, as she would like to have the father still in the child’s life. As a girl, I wouldn’t even bother with that guy. Make him pay child support and if he can’t do that well sorry you can’t see the kid until you pay or until the kid turns 18. Seems like he just doesn’t care. Can’t make a guy care.

Don't be with someone that has kids from another person unless you want lots of drama and stress in your life. It is a very bad idea.

That is not true for everyone... I was a divorced mother of four and me and my ex never had drama because we put our children first... my children are grown now but we're still great co-parents

@SexyRedd1966 That's good, but it is also rare to not have drama. Kids are often used as weapons to hurt an ex from what I have seen IRL.
