Yes, I am and you and others like you are the reason why we never seek help. I’m ashamed about being the person that I am. I try my best to change. I really do but always resort to similar things.
I have gotten a whole lot better today by myself but still need work.

If you have been diagnosed a sociopath please seek help. It's probably hard to walk around feeling ashamed. That being said you can take one step at a time.

One.. Find it in yourself to understand as you have your issues others have their own too. That can come in the form of bullying you or making you feel ashamed for example. Those people also need help for different reasons.

Two... Talk to a therapist. Three... Believe in yourself and allow yourself to be imperfect.. We are all flawed.

Three: Know that for every person who has nothing nice to say to you that there are more people rooting for you. Meaning make meaningful friendships.

I know it's easier said than done but ignore the negative and pursue the positive around you and follow that. Good luck

Regardless of you're need to one up the guy and being a know it all, how about not making the situation worse for someone like this person who is struggling?
