How can you really be sure?

Anyone have those typical signs would be considered narcissistic:

- Lack of empathy
- Need for admiration
- Sense of entitlement
- Feeling self-important
- Grandiose feeling
- Arrogant and haughty behavior
- Exploitative relationships
- Taking unfair advantage of others
- Overly sensitive to criticism
- Wanting attention
- Arrogance
- Envy and arrogance
- Lack of boundaries
- Manipulates others
- They constantly seek praise
- Afraid of rejection
- Being around high-status people
- Belief in superiority
- Blaming and shaming
- Fantasies about having or deserving
- Feeling special and unique
- Feelings of emptiness
- Frequent envy
- Grandiosity

I am not the one enumerating those but this list is taken from a medical site on the internet.

Any person having one or more of those symptoms could be called narcissistic.

I have questioned it before, even though I have trouble identifying or expressing emotions, I have the ability to feel empathy, therefore I am not.

Also I don't think, I have ever felt greed or envy (I have not wanted anything or anyone another person had) nor do I have a need for admiration. Therefore I am almost certain that I am not a narcissist.

I think if you’re feeling like you are, then you’re not. Because narcissists are unable to self reflect and take accountability for their behaviors. I’ve been called a narcissist by others who, rather ironically, exhibited all the small person behaviors inherent in narcissistic personality disorder.
