My ex boyfriend (1st relationship) was a narc. He nearly destroyed my own self worth, my self-esteem. They always like playing victims and even believe in their minds that they're poor victims that can't ever do wrong. He literally once even told me that he was perfect.

I'm in a better relationship now.

It took me many years to realize what a horrible monster he was because it was my first relationship ever, I thought giving it away to him meant marrying him eventually, and since there was no physical abuse I thought there was no abuse.

My first relationship was with a full blown narcissist. At 18 we married it was hell. The more I stood up the worse it got. My second relationship at 36 he just seemed selfish bc no abuse but he was always the victim toward the end when I got more serious ab him he flaunted girls at me becuase I stood up to his selfish ways and took a two week break. He was also very selfish in bed. We always did exactly what he wanted. So I stood up to him and he said let’s take a break. I then just broke it off. Kinda sad the only two men I thought I loved were selfish and objectified me

Sorry to hear about your 2 relationship with awful men. What works with a narc is blocking them all social medias and a permanent NC. Whatever they have to say is a bad and is a lie. They are horrible people.

you can't win, they will ALWAYS be the victim even if its totally clear theyre not, they will make you feel small and talk shit about you when youve gone. the best thing to do is make the cleanest break you can and hope that anyone they bitch about you to either knows you or knows them and understand that its their narcissistic shit and that you're probably actually a decent person!

I did. After a year. He seems to be selfish not full blown narcissist. But after a fight I blocked him becuase I realized he doesn’t care about my needs or me really. I texted him and said I felt stupid for ever dating him. No more contact. Wondering if that even hurt his ego. I was so nice wanted to end it saying something mean?

the only thing he may feel is anger that you left, as in how could you, only he can make that choice. forget him and learn from it
