Narcissistic behaviour?

I have a narcissistic friend and we haven’t been talking for a very long time… she suddenly texted me and she said “Hey, can I ask you a question? 😑” and she disappeared for two days she still didn’t ask the question and she has been active posting stories and pictures all day long … i am very confused and I wonder what i am supposed to make out of this situation? Any ideas? What would she gain out of behaving like this.

She knew she would get your attention by pre-occupying your mind. That gave her a nice little Buzz. She obviously has done exactly what she knew she could. You are all wrapped up in her again…week later. Mission accomplished

Its true she did get to me. But she doesn’t know that i am preoccupied thinking about this so it makes wonder what she benefits from this situation

Oh, I see. You're talking to a guy who only has LinkedIn... never Facebook or any of the others. I am super boring, by the way. One thing or two about Narcissist is they do not care what form attention comes in. This is why some of them are tagged with sociopath or psychopath. Some can enjoy attention received from another crying, yelling, being in pain, and/or complimenting... as long as the Narcissist is part of that in some way. This is why the household with a Narcissist in it seems like an emotional war field.-These are the really sick ones.
