Do guys exclude guy friends from friend groups the same way women do with female friends? For what reasons do you exclude male friends and how?

Guys absolutely do exclude guy friends from friend groups. Just not for the same reasons as women. It's more rare for guys. Because generally you don't end up with a guy friend you later feel the need to exclude. Usually, once a guys a friend, then that's it.

But if a guy stabs a guy in the back or otherwise does some stupid shit. Then, guys will absolutely exclude him from a friend group. It's usually overt though. Like a guy will TELL the other guy to fuck off. It's not the same kind of bitchy-silence that women can use when they do this to another woman.

The reasons for a guy to do it to a guy usually has to be a pretty clear and good reason. The guy is going to have some specific definite "charge" to justify excluding a guy friend. Women, in my experience can do this to other women for vague and ill-defined reasons.

Essentially though, yes guys do this. Not as often as women. But they do.

From my experience, guys typically don't do that unless they're two-faced. However, they might have certain groups they do certain things with due to shared intrests. if, for instanct though, they have a friend from a group that likes to play video games who wants to try their hand at hunting, they'll bring them along so they can try it out.

I can't speak for all guys obviusly. I'm just speaking for myself and my experiences with others I've been around.

I'm not a guy, but I've seen it happen when there is competition. One guy will invite the group for a party or outing and be sure to exclude his perceived competitor from the group invite.

my best friend... I never invite him to sports stuff because he's not into it, and he never invites me to SuperHero movies because I'm not into those... and that, has never been an issue between us before, lol

Men aren't competing with each other, they're competing against their current self. So no, I don't exclude them. However, women competing with each other so it's understandable for them to exclude
