Is it just me that finds it weird to request for your room to be cleaned while staying at a hotel?

I never request service because I always looked at it like, the room was clean when I checked in and if I need it to be clean again it’s only because 8 messed it up. I feel like housekeeping should only bring new towels and clean rooms after the guest leave to prepare it for new guest. Anything beyond that, especially when you don’t tip them, is like them being your maid.

They still get paid on a salary tho, you tip them I'm sure they will take it, it's a job but that's definitely some next level shit tho, personally I'd feel like a piece of shit calling another person just so they can clean after me
