Has anyone ever had an issue when It came to their rooms being cleaned and their parents having standards on how the room should be cleaned?

So growing my parents, especially my stepdad had a standard on how the room should be cleaned. For example, clothes had to be folded and put away in the drawers correctly if they were to be folded and clothes that needed to hang were put on hangers and hanged just to name a couple. And when my room has been cleaned to this standard there have been times where he'd come in and say it wasn't cleaned I could've just sat down from cleaning it or it had been a couple of days later and my room is clean and he says it. I get that having a clean room is normal and presentable and all that. But if I were to say that it was cleaned then I would've been told it wasn't cleaned to his standard even though it was and my mom would agree with him. The standards he has are that the beds were to be made (never specified how they needed to be made), clothes had to be folded and put up correctly (never said they had to be in a specific drawer or how the clothes needed to be folded) Clothes that needed to be put in the closet are hanged up (never said they had to be hanged in a specific order and/or by type) that shoes had to be put up (never said they had to be put up in a specific order or by type or brand) dirty clothes in the hamper and hamper in closet (never specified which side of the closet). And everything else needed to be put in its place wherever it was such as a three-drawer stand or cube for example (never specified that specific items needed to go into a specific spot in the cube or drawer.
