I have a friend who smoke weed art night and he sleeps during day. When he is high he goes to twitter and babbling with people. I have had a friend who smoke weed heavily. He complain too much about society. Should I stop going out with people who smoke weed? I don’t see the normal relationship with those people at all.
Depends on how much you're willing to put up with it, and if you're fine being around them when they're not smoking, but just don't want to be around them when they are smoking right in front of you. If you don't like it you don't have to put up with it, you can find another friend.
Personally, I'd be fine staying friends with someone who smokes tobacco for as long as it's not around me and they try to make sure that I can't smell it. If it was a partner and I can notice it when being around him or kissing, it's a no. I have no idea about weed, I don't hang out with those who do to begin with, but if I had the choice, anything that causes passive smoke or is contagious just by being next to them, I'd like to avoid like the plague, if they peer pressure me into doing it I'd avoid them, and if they become unhinged and/or not themselves when using, I'd leave for my own safety and health. It's best to keep your mind grounded. I like people for their personality, and they lose that when high, hallucinating, etc. And no wonder they complain about society when they have this unrealistic overdramatised idea now put into their head. The real world doesn't compare to their fantasy high, and people still say it doesn't harm them.

+1 yMost people who constantly smoke weed can't cope with life. Particularly given that THC is a psychoactive agent meaning you smoke it = you aren't in touch with reality.
And explains why most heavier weed smokers are bigfoot believers, tin-hat UFO survivors, and believe the government is spying on Jack Dimwit of shitville nowhere.

Weed isn't called the "gateway" drug for no reason. It is exactly like more illegal drugs such as meth. Same thing. Meant for people that can't cope.
Instead of getting the help they really need & becoming contributing members of society they'd rather bury their head in the sand. A few other members have pointed out that being high "changes" a person's personality - sometimes for the better.
More often for the worse (lack of control, lack of ambition/drive, laziness, etc.) as weed IS a depressant as the more you smoke the more you need & so forth & so forth.

There are downsides to both weed and booze. Certainly booze destroys a body. In the morning, your brain is fine...
You ask about weed. Sure, it's less addictive but as you observe, in time, it is addictive. It also causes brain damage that alcohol doesn't. You'll notice that any longterm smoker is mentally dull, absence of energy. Complaining about society and other things seems to be a common thread.
You'll be better off if you distance yourself... Is there any reason to stay?

+1 ythe weed isn’t the problem it their personality
weed makes some people very productive
And helps with their anxiety
but if someone goes into a fit of rage because they can’t smoke weed that’s a red flag cut this person off immediately

+1 yThat's one thing I don't like about my new girlfriend. She's a super cool girl, but she's stoned 24/7. Literally, she's high ALL THE TIME. When she's not smoking bud, she's rocking her vape pen (the THC ones).
The problem with that is I have no idea what kind of person she is when she's not high. She could be a total nightmare!

My boyfriend is addicted to vape. If his coworkers lend him dip, he’ll take that too. He even makes some cash on the side from giving people weed. I rlly can't stand this high school behavior or having the need to calm down his emotions with a stupid device

It is a bit childish, you're right. My girlfriend is only 22, so I'm hoping she'll grow out of it
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yPeople who complain a lot about society have issues. Most are poor and underachievers. And the beef that they have with "society" is all dumb stuff. It's like come on, eventually they will need the services that "society" provides. Like seeing a doctor or a dentist, or having to call the police for some reason.
00 ReplyNo, don't break your friendship. Just stay away from weed addicts, drug addicts, alcoholics, chain smokers. If you can control yourself when you hangout with them then it's not a problem. But there is a higher chance that you may get addicted too. Don't start hating addicts, be nice to them. If you are a true friend, then you must help them quit it.
00 ReplyI tried it twice and did not find any use for it. Tobacco is stupid but at least not psychoactive.
Could not force myself to hang out with cannabis smoking folk. It's mindnumbing.
