I didn't think I needed this much info. But I just wanted to lie or sneak out to a friends house that's literally down the street. But I'm not allowed because it's good Friday and my family is religious. I'm not going out to a bar or club to do drugs or alcohol omg.

If you hate them, and they hate you, go ahead and lie. If you love them and they love you, don't lie.

I don't think lying is the worst thing in the world especially if you're doing it for good like saving someone's life, but it seems like you just want to have fun.

I don't think you should sneak out either. You're 18, so you should be able to go out on your own. At the same time, you should realize that crazy shit can happen at night, so you better be with the right people. If you're trying to drink with your friends, this is illegal until 21 in the US, so there could be consequences. Did I drink when I was 18? Yes. Many people do, but I didn't lie to my parents about it, and I was careful. Women need to be even more careful. This is not sexist. Women are generally physically weaker. Much weaker, and they get drunk much faster because they're smaller and have less of alcohol dehydrogenase, which is the enzyme that breaks down alcohol before reaching the bloodstream.

I'm not implying that you're definitely trying to drink, but I am saying that's what usually happens when 18 year olds sneak out on Friday nights
