I’m going to be coming back home from a deployment and they haven’t seen me since September

I can honestly see my mom immediately bursting into tears and squeezing the life out of me.

We’re coming back home in April so it’ll be around that time. Lol

oh she is defintely going to do that! it'll be a tears-squeezing-laughter-like absolutely wonderful for her! oh but are you gonna talk to your family before then? how are you not gonna tell them? like that's gonna be hard. shoot. now i think you should tell them when you all are coming home.

You should at least tell them you’re in the same state but as long as your going straight there to surprise them.

I did it a few times and its good to do it at times but once came home with a different look to surprise them and it went bad
