How old where you when you were first left home alone?

I would come home to an empty house when I was 5 or 6, but I suspect I was left alone much earlier.

One of my siblings and I were left to live in an apartment on our own (with weekly groceries supplied) when I was 12. That really sucked, but I learned self reliance.

I suppose about 2 weeks before I turned 21. I went to Cedar Point for the summer to work there. It's a 4 hour drive from here. I was alone for the first time for nearly 3 months.
